Bathroom remodels are one of the easiest ways to upgrade a home.  However, depending on the scope of work and the fixtures chosen it can also be one of the costliest.  I work with the homeowner to determine their needs.  Is someone in the home having a hard time getting into a tub, so should we consider a shower instead?  Or is a tub with a lower front apron more appropriate?  Do you want a prefabricated unit or ceramic tile?

This may sound simple, but should you consider a comfort height toilet?  Comfort height toilets are about 2 inches taller than a standard toilet, but as the name says, they are much more comfortable to use.  Also, should you consider an elongated bowl?  If you are considering this style, make certain you have enough legroom in front of the unit.

Should you install a vanity or a pedestal sink?
